Background Information
1907 is the name of a small perfume house from Slovakia, founded by Eva Skovranova in 2014.
The grandparents of the founder had a close relationship with countess Stepan and count Andrassy, and Eva is continuing their legacy and paying homage to the life of the artistocratic court. Eva’s grandmother supplied the counts’ court with cosmetics, which she made herself with a lot of care and love. She was always searching for different ways to bring infinite beauty with nature's help. Her recipe for violet-lily eau de cologne, which her granddaughter guards with love until today. A visit to a small perfume creator in Grasse, gave Eva the impulse for the renaissance of her grandmother’s soul. 1907 decided to preserve the beauty of the idea and to link it to tradition with the symbol of the Lilly, incarnating the purity and nobility.
1907 is going back in time, with new ingredients but the same similar passion.
The perfumes in their collection Beneath the Surface are produced in limited amounts, "exactly as grandmother did in the past" is how Eva wanted it to be.
The perfume house works with materials from Grasse, France, it uses French glass bottles and the production is in Kosice, Slovakia.
